I am a storyteller and a houseplant from Rajasthan, currently settled in Bangalore, India. With 10 years of experience in children's publishing, visual storytelling, education, research and branding, I am still looking for a place to tell my kind of stories, where the focus is on nuanced narratives and why such stories are told.
In each work that I create, I seek to capture the essence of cultural experiences, presenting them as food for thought. My intention is to engage young readers and start conversations about societal norms, biases, and the importance of embracing diversity. Through my work, I aspire to inspire empathy, understanding, and a broader perspective among children and readers of all ages.
By merging my artistic abilities with storytelling, I hope to create a world where children can explore, question, and celebrate the diverse tapestry of our society.
I work with traditional materials in hand to make emotionally rich styles that explore themes of childhood, memory, and everyday life. Currently open to international collaborations in picture books and narrative art.
